Despite the two missing pages from this document, as noted below, this article does give a brief idea of how flotation analysis is used in the analysis of archaeological materials. Four tables are presented giving the results of flotation analysis of floral, faunal, lithic, ceramic, adobe and plaster samples from the Cihuatecpan site in Mexico.
