Abstract
This article discusses the Early Formative stone tool industry at Santo Domingo Tomaltepec which the author characterizes as a flake and core industry largely involved with hard hammer percussion. A table is presented in the text listing the variety of stone tools found at Tomaltepec, the type of stone used in their manufacture, the expected duration of use of the tool, and remarks or comments on the probable use to which the tool was put.
