Abstract
This a report on the test excavations and stratigraphy of the monumental architecture at Cerros. The monumental architecture includes five large pyramidal structures and associated plazas and small structures in the central precinct. Freidal gives the dimension for each structure and determines their general sequence. The evidence reveals a sudden and rapid transformation from a nucleated village to a ceremonial center.
