Abstract
Kintz and Fletcher estimate the population for Late Classic Cobá using different calculations from various other Mayanists. Ethnohistoric and ethnographic data of the Maya from Yucatan and archaeological data from Cobá are used to help adjust these population estimates. Palace populations are also estimated. Kintz and Fletcher estimate a population of between 40,000 and 60,000 for all of Cobá.
