Abstract
Terada gives a brief overview of the architecture found during the Japanese Archaeological Expedition fieldwork in the Cajamarca Valley. At Huacaloma, Terada describes two rooms (R-1 and R-2) and compares the architectural style to that found at Kotosh and Alto Salaverry. Later architecture at the same site includes two drains or flues that Terada refers to as canals or canal-like structures. At Layzón Terada describes the temple platforms and staircases and the structures placed on top of the platforms.
