In this article, Lumbreras discusses the different ceramic styles from various sites around the Huari Empire. He also discusses some of the architecture and statues from the Huari site. Based on the influence of the Huari style on local ceramics he traces a history of Huari expansion in the central Andes and coastal region. The article includes good photographs of pottery and buildings.
