Abstract
This account by a Spanish priest who lived among the Inca deals with the origin myths of the different tribes comprising the Inca nation and with the ceremonial calendar and religious practices of the Inca. Considerable detail is given on ceremonial practices and the texts of a number of prayers are given. There is also some information on a religious revivalistic nativistic movement which occurred about 1560 and resulted in a rebellion some five years later. The index, vocabulary list, and lists of names for the entire Markham volume appear with document 6: Polo de Ondegardo.
