Abstract
The authors describe mastodon bones found at the Burning Tree Golf Course, concentrating on marks that support their hypotheses of how the animal was butchered and the meat stored. Radiocarbon dates were obtained from the surrounding strata, and from the bone and gut contents of the mastodon.
