Abstract
The authors present a reclassification of projectile points found from the Paleo-Indian through Middle Archaic periods in the eastern United States and Ontario, Canada. They provide an identification key in the hope of correcting inconsistencies in the existing literature and aiding archaeologists in assigning points to their time periods and, perhaps, culture. They also provide a chart of projectile point traits found in various time periods.
