Abstract
The author examined fluted point distribution in the glaciated and unglaciated sections of Indiana, Kentucky, and Ohio, with the objective of advancing understanding about lithic production regarding favored sources, distribution, exchange, subsistence-settlement patterns, and initial colonization. The points were provenienced to at least the county level and almost half could be provenienced to one of 144 Early Paleo-Indian sites.
