Abstract
The authors examine paleoenvironmental data from the Early Paleo-Indian period in northeastern North America, developing hypothetical band territories, with ethnographic comparison to groups living in similar boreal forest environments. The focus is on mobility and the basis of the Early Paleo-Indian economy.
