Abstract
The author considers the question of whether Clovis people and fluted points spread together by colonization or whether fluted points spread through an existing population by diffusion. Different ways of answering the question are explored in examining the data from the Parkhill Complex and comparing it to other fluted point cultures in Canada and the United States.
