Abstract
In this paper, Guilaine uses his analysis of the ceramic ware to place the Leucate site in context of the Western Mediterranean Neolithic. According to Guilaine Leucate is a Cardial site, distinct form the Impressa of Southeastern Italy, and sharing more style elements with the Cardial of Spain (Levante) to the west than with Provence in the east.
