Todorova presents a comprehensive overview of the Eneolithic Period cultures of Bulgaria and Romania. She points out that EneolithicPeriod in Bulgaria dates to the fifth millenium B.C. when C14 dates are calibrated with the aid of the dendrochronology. Described are the Eneolithic cultures, their settlements and architecture, demography, their economy and technologies, art, a little on their religious life, and pictograms which may be property signs.
