The author examines the pottery workshop area in the northwest corner of Mound E , dating to Periods 2-3, to for evidence of craft specialization and control of production. Comparisons to pottery manufacture at Harappa Mound AB, at Mohenjo-daro, and in Mesopotamia, suggest production could be organized in different ways.
