Abstract
This article presents a brief summary on some of the major archaeological findings at the Neolithic site of Chirand, in the district of Saran, Bihar, India. Lithic, bone, and ceramic industries are described by the author who also provides information on the foods and agriculture of this Neolithic population. The document concludes with a statement on the chronology of Chirand, based on C-14 dates.
