AbstractBrief abstract written by HRAF anthropologists who have done the subject indexing for the document
This is a detailed description of the Chalcolithic human skeletal material found at Kaothe. Five burials dating to the Chalcolithic were found together; the date of a sixth burial found a short distance away could not be determined, so it is not included in the report. Tables include measurements for both cranial and post-cranial remains. The evidence from Kaothe is compared with that from other Deccan Chalcolithic sites.
