Abstract
Todorova summarizes the Neolithic through the Transitional periods in Bulgaria. She reviews the cultures, the main sites, and describes the key findings for each culture/site (type of ceramics, architecture, where settlements are found, etc.). Todorova also discusses the importance of the climatic changes on the people and settlements of these periods. Only the Late Eneolithic through Transitional periods were indexed for Outline of Material Cultures (OCM) codes.
