Abstract
Archaeobotanical data collected from two sites on the southern edge of the Sahel are discussed in this document. Botanical remains from Nigeria are described with an emphasis on whether they are wild or domestic, and a pollen profile from Burkina Faso is assessed for evidence of agriculture.
