Baurch and Bottema discuss the pollen cores and floral data from two sites: one in the Ghab valley in northwestern Syria and the other in the Hula valley in northern Israel. The section of the cores discussed cover the Late Pleistocene to the Early Holocene. The data also provide evidence of the paleoclimate.
