Abstract
Edwards describes the excavations at the site of Wadi Hammeh 27, an open-air Natufian site. He also describes the geomorphology and paleoenvironment, the stratigraphy, the architectural features of the site, the artifacts and their distributions, the faunal and floral remains, and the human remains. Artifacts included ground and incised stone, flaked stone, bone artifacts (which include six almost complete sickle hafts), shell artifacts, and stone artifacts made from basalt, a material exotic to Wadi al-Hammeh).
