Abstract
Research in the Azraq Basin has found over 100 prehistoric sites, but only one has definite Natufian affinities. It is a deflated site situated among silt dunes about one kilometer south of some perennial springs. A six meter square sounding was excavated. Stone and bone tools were found along with faunal remains and some human remains. The site appears to have been a base camp.
