AbstractBrief abstract written by HRAF anthropologists who have done the subject indexing for the document
'This paper presents preliminary results of research at the early Natufian site of Tabaqa in southern Jordan. The nature of the occupation strongly implies that Natufian adaptation along the western edge of the desert occurred earlier and was more diverse than previously recognized … In addition to a brief description of the site and its associated material, some preliminary inferences are made regarding seasonality and local settlement configuration.'
