Abstract
This article discusses animal domestication from the Epipaleolithic through the Neolithic. Only the material that pertains to the time period of the Epipaleolithic was indexed for OCM (Outline of Cultural Materials) subjects. Davis reviews the evidence for animal domestication and examines possible reasons for domesticating animals, such as increased pressure on the environment through increased population and hunting.
