Abstract
Unger-Hamilton conducted extensive experimental field work using replicated stone tools to 'harvest' 39 different plants. The stone tools were then examined for microwear using the high power analysis approach of L.H. Keeley. The experimental tools were then compared to sickle blades from several Natufian sites to answer the question of what species of plants were harvested by the Natufians.
