Abstract
Watson and LeBlanc present their findings from the small, late Halaf site of Girikihaciyan. They discuss the excavations, architecture, ceramics, stone tools, other artifacts, diet, and tools. They also present a critique of Hijara's ceramic seriation for the site of Arpachiyah and compare Girikihaciyan with other Halafian sites, mostly Arpachiyah, Banahilk, Tell Aqab, Shames-ed-Din, and Tell Turlu.
