Abstract
Tobler describes the excavations and the findings from levels VIII through XX and the soundings in Area A and the Northeast Base. Only strata XX, Area A and the Northeast Base are dated to the Halaf period. Only the data that pertains to the Halaf period was indexed for OCM (Outline of Cultural Materials) subjects. This includes some data from stata XIX that also pertains to the Halaf period, especially the pottery. The architecture as it is found in each level, the pottery, and the seals and sealings are described in some detail. But the other artifacts, such as stone tools, stone vessels, and bone tools are described in less detail than is common among current authors.
