Garfinkel summarizes the Yarmukian subtradition starting with the history of research and then describing sites, ceramics - which he considers the first in the area, lithic tools, art, burials, economy, architecture, trade, and chronology. The relationship between Yarmukian and Jericho IX site locations, chronology, and ceramics is discussed.
