This document is the English translation of the one that first appeared in Hebrew in 1966. In it Stekelis describes the excavations and findings from the Neolithic site on the Yarmuk river terrace near Kibbutz Sha'ar Hagolan. Described are the stratigraphy, the lithics, the ceramics, the art objects (mostly inscibed pebbles), and the settlement. Numerous figures of the artifacts and art objects are included.
