By: Bader, N. O. (Nikolai Ottovich).

Abstract
Excavations were conducted at Kültepe to confirm that early agricultural sites existed in the northern Mesopotamian plain. Bader describes the architecture, ceramics, and lithics found at the site. The site is compared to Tell Sotto and other early Hassunan sites and confirms the connection and continuity between Tell Sotto and later archaic Hassunan sites.
