By: Yoffee, Norman.

Abstract
This paper was not indexed for OCM (Outline of Cultural Materials) codes for data that pertain to Halaf as that is a separate eHRAF tradition (M086). Yoffee writes about the 'interaction sphere' as it pertains to Mesopotamia and how it helps explain later, historic Mesopotamian civilization. He discusses how Hassunan and Samarran pottery show the interaction between the people of these two ceramic traditions.
