By: Akkermans, Peter M. M. G..
Abstract
Akkermans describes the stratigraphy and the architecture found during the excavations of the 1986 field season. Only the data that pertain to the Ceramic Neolithic were indexed for OCM (Outline of Cultural Materials)codes. The strata that pertain to the Late Neolithic are: Trench 4, stratum 4; Trench 5; and Square P14, strata 11-10. In addition, there are several levels that are transitional between the Late Neolithic and Halaf; they are: Square P14, strata 9-7. Only the data that pertain to the Ceramic Neolithic (here termed Late Neolithic) and the transitional strata were marked for OCM codes (Outline of Cultural Materials codes). The Halaf data were not indexed for OCM subjects as there is a separate eHRAF collection on Halaf (M086).
