Abstract
This is a brief summary of known data about 'Ubaid sites in the Gulf states of Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, and the Oman Peninsula up to 1989. Most of the data centers around the material culture of the 'Ubaid population, (ceramics, stone tools, implements, etc.), with limited information on the life styles of the 'Ubaid populations living in these areas.
