Abstract
Wright describes his field survey and his findings from the area around Ur and Eridu. He gives an idea of the settlement patterns and describes some of the ceramics. The survey encountered remains from the Eridu Period (circa 7000 B.P. or 5000 B.C.) through the Neo-Babylonian Period and later (2600 B.P. or 6th century B.C. and later). Only the data pertaining to the Early Dynastic Period were indexed for Outline of Cultural Material (OCM) codes. The last few pages of this document contain a listing of the sites found during the survey along with a brief description of the site. The following are the sites with Early Dynastic Period dates: 3, 4, 8, 10, 16, 19, 21, 22, 28, 29, 30, 31 south, 46, 47, 52, 73, 79, 82, 84, 92, 93, 96, 98, 127, 133, 134, 142, 145, 156, 159, 163, 172, 175, 176.
