By: Felli, Candida.

Abstract
Felli discusses 'chronological issues related to the Brak glyptic and [investigates] some aspects of the broader questions of seal use and the meaning of seal imagery.' page 141. Felli demonstrates the contemporaneity of some of the styles, the likelyhood that some were used by Akkadian officials, and examines the Scribe's Seal. Felli suggests the evidence indicates an Akkadian presence in the north earlier than Narim-Sin.
