Excavations at Tell Brak2 • Published In 2001 • Pages: 254-256

By: Northover, Jeremy P. (Jeremy Peter).

Abstract
Northover analyzed 34 samples of metalwork for trace elements from Tell Brak. He concludes the copper was not freshly smelted but that the Tell must have used secondary sources of copper and remelted it. There is little bronze in the metalwork analyzed.
