Abstract
Oates describes the various organic materials and objects found. Among them are an ivory figurine, an ivory handle, and three ivory bowl fragments. Shell artifacts include ornaments and a carved bead. Local bivalves were used for food and mother of pearl inlay. Bone tools include awls, needles, inlay, spindle whorls, and horn cores. Bitument helped provide proof of baskets and leather bags. Cloth impressions were found on seal impressions and as mineralized textile on the surfaces of metal tools.
