Abstract
Banks investigated site E-81-3, one of four sites near the mouth of Wadi Kubbaniya. The site is distinguished from the others by a predominance of quartz debitage and cores, a scarcity of grinding tools, and the high amount of fish in the faunal remains. 'The exploitation of fish may have been a major aspect of the subsistence pattern ... and plant processing a minor one.' (page 320). The features at the site also point to fish processing and perhaps storage.
