By: Hoffman, Michael A., Berger, Michael.

AbstractBrief abstract written by HRAF anthropologists who have done the subject indexing for the document
Hoffman and Berger discuss their approach to ceramic classification. In this analysis they used sherds from settlement sites to modify Petrie's Predynastic ceramic system. Most of the sherds used were from Locality 29 and for the analysis they used all the sherds recovered from excavation. This chapter also discusses the lithic artifacts from Locality 29, square 17L13 and their classification.
