Hoffman presents information on settlement pattern in the Hierakonpolis area. Each locality and the settlement data from it are presented in a table. Information on kiln sites is presented separately as is cemetery data. Hoffman provides estimates of population data. Inter site and intra site patterns are examined. Hoffman also describes the variety of materials used in construction.
