Abstract
'Appendix VI, Ugashik Faunal Remains,' by George T. Jones is not included here as no fauna remains were found dating to the Ugashik Narrows phase. Henn describes the archaeological research done along the Ugashik River drainage. Only the archaeological data that pertains to the Late Tundra period (mostly the archaeological data pertaining to the Ugashik Narrows phase at 49Uga1) were indexed for Outline of Cultural Materials (OCM) codes. Found were lithic artifacts (e.g., blade cores, blades, burins, microblade cores, microblades, and conical, polyhedreal, blade cores), debitage, and a thin, dark band of charcoal in one of the units. In addition, there were small concentrations of artifacts.
