Abstract
Workman discusses the prehistory of the Southern Tuchone Athapaskans of the Aishihik-Kluane Lake basins in southwest Yukon Territory from 5000/6000 B.C. to A.D. 1900 (which is still the contact period). Workman believes Athapaskan prehistory in the area extends back through the Taye Lake phase which appears to start around 2500/3000 B.C.
