By: Bade, Mary J..

Abstract
Bade analyzed the skeletal material found during excavation of Stratum 9E at Modoc. The remains were of one female individual probably aged 45-50 years at death. The remains show evidence of arthritis and periostitis. Her cranium was missing and it appears it was removed after death after the body had decomposed.
