Abstract
Multiyear research investigations have been conducted in the Pomme de Terre River valley. The sites discussed in this chapter belong to the Sedalia phase. Kay discusses the diagnostic points, the radiocarbon dates, the burials, and the settlement system for the river valley. The Sedalia phase people were more or less sedentary hunter-gatherers with horticulture. They had specialized camps and buried people individually.
