Abstract
The excavations by Hamilton et al. at the Stott site were done in anticipation of widening of the Trans Canada Highway and were partly conducted by a field school from Brandon University-University of Winnipeg. The site itself consists of a series of individual occupations that were seasonal camping and/or work areas for processing food (much of the bone had been highly fractured, probably to extract the marrow and bone grease) on a series of narrow terraces in a sloping valley. Hamilton describes the excavations, features, ceramics, faunal material (including the patterns of butchering marks), bone tools, and lithic tools and waste material. This manuscript includes catalogs of the stone and bone tools.
