Abstract
Glen analyzed the fish remains (otoliths and vertebrae) from HELO' (CA-SBA-46). Glen examined the fish remains as one unit rather than looking at them by stratigraphic level, so changes over time were not discussed. He discusses the species of fish which were exploited and the habitats these fish species can be found in. Some fishing techniques are briefly discussed. The importance of the various species of fish in the diet of the Chumash can be inferred from the text and tables.
