AbstractBrief abstract written by HRAF anthropologists who have done the subject indexing for the document
Christenson discusses the analysis of the faunal remains from SDi-4513. These are compared with the remains from five previous projects that were also conducted within the village of YSTAGUA. Small mammal and fish are the main sources of protein in the diet. Faunal remains indicate the site was occupied year round. Christenson believes large terrestrial mammals and marine mammals were not a major food source, but were probably used mainly as a source for tools.
