AbstractBrief abstract written by HRAF anthropologists who have done the subject indexing for the document
Fry conducted a preliminary analysis of 27 probable human coprolites from Hogup Cave. Fry divides the specimens into three groups. Group I contains the coprolites from the Unit I culture complex and all date prior to 6000 BP. Fry discusses what was found in the coprolites and what that can tell us about diet, food preparation, parasites. and ingestion of non-food items. Only the data that pertain to Group I are marked for Outline of Cultural Material (OCM) codes.
