Community dynamics, site structure, and aggregation in the northern Rio Grande
ancient southwestern community : models and methods for the study of prehistoric social organization • Albuquerque • Published In 1994 • Pages: 103-117
By: Crown, Patricia L., Kohler, Timothy A..
Abstract
Much of the northern Rio Grande region had a low population level until late in the sequence when there was an influx of people. This influx created changes in community dynamics which can be seen in changes in the architecture. Crown and Kohler see this as a great need for community integration and a reorganization of the decision making structure at Pot Creek Pueblo.
