Abstract
Neitzel examines changing regional boundaries of the Chacoan system by using a theoretical model proposed by Kowalewski (Kowalewski et al. 1983 Boundaries, Scale, and Internal Organization. In: Journal of Anthropological Archaeology 2:32-56.) She compares the size and degree of centralization and the permeability of the Chacoan system's boundaries.
